When I started reading this book I felt confused but little by little I was able to understand it. Even though sometimes I am confused I get back to it. I must admit I am hooked to the book! So I am almost done reading the book but I muist admit I was surprise to find out Baba's secret. Once you get to part III you will find out why Baba has been acting different and the things she is has done to this cause. I was surprise because when I started reading the book I had a feeling Jack would have an affair since he is always very descrifull about all the women around him in how atracting and beautiful they are. Both Denise and Jack had an idea that Baba was hiding something do to the change. You will find out why Baba is always chewing gum. I hope I didn't spoile it too much but I am excited to see whether Jack will get over the situation and if they will end up getting a divorce or stay toether.
I admit that in the beginning I was also confused. Wow I can't wait to read further along in the book. I can't believe Jack has an affair!! He seems to adore Babbette! This is making me excited about really reading more tonight!! Okay so the whole gum chewing is not for the smoking habit? Is it a pill or the gum causing the memory loss? Okay once I put the boys to bed I am reading! :)
ReplyDeleteJazmin, thanks for your blog this week. You hooked me in with your title. I have not finished reading the book, but you gave me some added interest in pushing ahead and reading the rest. You did not really give away anything, but caught my interest. So I can't wait to read the rest and find out more about Baba. The book overall is pretty interesting and I would agree with you at first was a little confusing and tough to stay focused. The more I read, the more interesting it got. Keep up the good work.
